Dwemer Hover Craft
Well this is something I started working on about 3 hours ago -.o. No I dont have a life (jk). Its basically just a Dwemer Hover Craft that will be fully pilotable with all new animations and an all new skeleton. Im making the animations right now and they do look pretty cool Grin

It will be able to fly , but to a controlled height. Its not meant to go soar over mountains Tongue

One thing , would it be terribly annoying to have the E key make the craft go down ? SHort of scripting the whole thing , this would be the easiest solution.

Since you can't attack on mounts in Oblivion, perhaps left click can make you go up and right click can make you go down. Besides, isn't E used for something else already? I can't remember what at the moment.

Now, as for the modeling, it does look pretty nice but a bit high-poly. It looks like you modeled individual gears... as in, 72 faces around the outside of those gears. You might want to make a simpler version and do all the detail through textures to save your mod from lag.

It is only 9k poly count Tongue

And the E key is used for jumping. Since it doesn't need a jump animation , I figured that making the "fly down" animation could be used instead.

Ahh, ok. That makes sense.

You could probably get it down to around 1K if you're careful. Just for reference, the body of a horse is 3922 polys. I know they're professionals and I'm not suggesting you start over or spend a whole lot of time changing it, I'm just giving you a critique for future reference.
